The Harrison Township Trustees have made a decision as to where the new fire station will be located on the Valerie Woods property. Click here to see a copy of the letter sent out by the Trustees, which explains their decision.
There have been reports recently of damage to the woods, meadows, and wetlands of Valerie Woods, caused by individuals riding all-terrain vehicles on the property. This is not only destructive, it's illegal. If you observe or hear anyone riding motorized vehicles on the Valerie Woods property, call the Sheriff immediately at 225-4357.
Just a reminder, the Valerie Woods property has been posted as a "No Trespassing" area. Therefore, if you wish to visit Valerie Woods you must first obtain permission and sign a release form at the Township Office. For more information, please contact Harrison Township at (937) 890-5611.
